It was the wedding of my sister Kathy and her fiance Simon at Gainsborough Greens Golf Club at Pimpama.They exchanged their vows in an emotional and romantic ceremony that included readings by Simon's mum and Kathy's grandfather.

I had held her hand to cross the road, fought with her over borrowed clothes and watched her grow from a little girl and she was now a beautiful bride, and I, a very proud big sister.

As a celebrant it is always a privilege to be asked to perform a couple's wedding ceremony, but to be a part of such a special day in my sister's life will remain a treasured memory always.
