Notice of Intended Marriage Form

The NOIM should be printed, typed or handwritten in block letters with a black pen.
The NOIM must be lodged with me no earlier than 18 months before your marriage and no later than one month and one day before your marriage.

If you feel you have a valid reason for not being able to give one month’s notice, then you may apply for a shortening of time to a prescribed authority such as the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriage or your local magistrates court. For more information, please contact Lisa.
